Achieve precise RF power measurement with this compact AD8318 logarithmic detector module, operating from 1MHz to 8GHz with accuracy up to 6GHz. Powered by a 5V DC supply and consuming approximately 80mA, it features a 50-ohm input impedance suitable for sine wave and pulse signals (default to mean detection), with an input power range from -65dBm to +20dBm and a dynamic range over 70dB. The output voltage varies from 0.5V to 2.1V, with a linear dB response and a response time of about 10 nanoseconds. Its 32mm x 24mm x 7mm design, integrated metal shield, SMA connectors, and operating temperature of -25°C to +75°C make it ideal for transmitter power and receiver strength testing.
